1. About the app and the service
The app is the retailer's own branded app, built and maintained by Nirel Agrisciences (registered address: Door No.546, Maanjolai, Kizhakke Mathrampallam, Ward 6 Meenkara, Govindapuram, Muthalamada, Palakkad District, Kerala – 678507; phone 75983 78583; email office@nirelagri.com). The digital services inside the app — AI crop advisory, satellite field monitoring, plant health diagnosis, weather alerts, market price information, and payment processing — are operated by Nirel Agrisciences, and these terms apply between the user (farmer or retailer) and Nirel for those services. Advisory is prepared by Nirel and delivered to the farmer through, and in consultation with, the farmer's trusted retailer. Each retailer is an independent business, not an agent, partner, or employee of Nirel.
2. Joining
A farmer joins through their local retailer with name and phone number. One phone number belongs to one account. By joining, the farmer agrees to these terms.
3. Plans
- Free: basic crop advisory, weather alerts, and general updates, at no charge.
- Full Service (weekly advance): a weekly autopay starting from ₹150 per week, set up through UPI AutoPay / eNACH on the farmer's own account. Each successful debit adds to the farmer's advance with the retailer. Once the advance reaches ₹600, the farmer may use it, in part or in full, to purchase agricultural inputs at that retailer's shop. Full digital services are included.
- Advisory-Only: the full digital services at ₹30 per month, without the weekly advance. A retailer may also sponsor advisory for chosen farmer customers at ₹30 per farmer per month.
4. The advance
- The advance is money the farmer has paid towards future purchases at the shop of the farmer's trusted retailer. It is held with that retailer, not with Nirel. It earns no interest and is not a loan in either direction. All matters concerning the advance are between the farmer and the farmer's trusted retailer.
- Purchases happen face-to-face at the shop. Every use of the advance requires the farmer's approval on the farmer's own phone before the amount is deducted.
- Nirel's income from each weekly debit is a small platform and advisory charge; the remaining amount is settled to the retailer and stands as the farmer's advance.
4A. Goods are sold by the retailer, not by Nirel
All purchases made using the advance are sales between the farmer and the farmer's trusted retailer. Selection, quality, pricing, availability, billing, and any guarantee or return of goods are entirely between the farmer and the retailer, as with any purchase at the shop. Nirel is not the seller of any goods, does not hold stock, and does not fix product prices. Nirel builds and maintains the app for the retailer, records the advance and its use, and provides the digital services.
5. Payments
- All mandates are set up by the account holder, on their own bank account or UPI app, through the standard authorisation process. The exact amount is always shown before approval.
- If a weekly debit fails, that cycle is simply skipped — no penalty, no retry, no doubled amount later.
- If two consecutive debits are missed, advisory and monitoring services may be disrupted until the next successful debit, after which they resume automatically. The farmer's advance always remains the farmer's and remains usable.
6. Advisory disclaimer
Advisory, satellite observations, plant health assessments, weather information, and market price information are guidance based on the data available to the platform. Farming outcomes depend on many factors outside anyone's control — weather, pests, markets, and field conditions. Nirel does not guarantee crop outcomes, yields, or prices, and is not liable for losses arising from decisions taken on the basis of the advisory. Farmers should apply their own judgment and consult their retailer or local agriculture officer where needed.
7. User responsibilities
Users must keep their phone number and PIN safe; actions taken from an account are treated as that account holder's. Farmers should provide correct field and crop details, as advisory quality depends on them. The platform is to be used only for the user's own farming or shop purposes.
8. Cancellation
A farmer may cancel autopay at any time through the retailer or by contacting Nirel; cancellation takes effect from the next cycle. Details are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
9. Changes
Pricing and features may be revised. The exact amount is always confirmed with the payer before any mandate is set up or changed, and no change to an existing mandate takes effect without the payer's acceptance on their own phone.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Palakkad, Kerala shall have jurisdiction.
